Privacy Policy
Last updated:
PeraMama (peramama.com and the PeraMama apps) is run by Claudine Boyon, an individual in the Philippines. In this policy, "we" means Claudine Boyon running PeraMama. This policy explains what we collect when you use a PeraMama account, why, who helps us, and your rights. Questions or requests: support@peramama.com.
1. What we collect
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and a password (stored only in scrambled, "hashed" form) | You create an account with email | To sign you in and send account emails |
| Email address and basic Google profile details (name, profile picture) | You choose "Continue with Google" | To sign you in. We don't get your Google password. |
| Free-trial record (your email in a standard form, and the start date) | You start the free trial | To allow one free trial per person |
| Pass and payment records: the item, price, our reference code, the GCash or Maya reference number you enter, dates and status | You buy a pass | To check your payment, give you access and keep tax records |
| Money records you enter in PeraMama apps: your accounts and their balances, income, expenses, transfers, categories and budgets (later also savings goals, family budgets and loans you track) | You use a PeraMama money app, such as PeraMama Personal | Only to run the apps for you. Only you can see them, or family members you invite once family sharing exists. |
| Records of important account actions (for example a payment approved or a pass cancelled, who did it and when) | When they happen | Security and to fix mistakes fairly |
| Sign-in cookies | While you're signed in | To keep you signed in. They are needed for the site to work. |
| "Recently used" apps | When you open an app from Member Home | Kept only on your own device, never sent to us |
We don't ask for your address, phone number, government ID or card details. We never see your GCash or Maya login. Your money records in PeraMama apps are what you type in; we never connect to your bank or e-wallet.
When you pay by GCash or Maya, the payment goes through that wallet, under its own privacy policy. We see the payment in our wallet history, including the name the wallet shows us, and match it to your reference number.
2. Visits to our website
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to our pages, clicks on our "Try the budgeting app" links, and how many people start and finish creating an account. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you to other websites. It shows us only totals, such as which pages were visited, the referring site, country, browser and device type. It never shows your name, email address or any information about children. We don't count visits to pages made for children, admin pages, or the pages that sign-in links land on.
We don't show ads, and we don't sell or rent your information.
3. Children
Accounts are for adults (18 and over). Children never need an account to play our kids' games, and those games keep progress only on the device. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
4. Who helps us run PeraMama
These services process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
| Service | What it does for us | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Stores accounts, trials, passes, payment records and the money records you enter in PeraMama apps; handles sign-in | Singapore |
| Vercel | Hosts the website and apps; Web Analytics | Global network; servers in the United States and other countries |
| Resend | Sends account emails (confirm your email, reset your password) | United States |
| "Continue with Google" sign-in, if you choose it | Global |
Because these services are outside the Philippines, your information is transferred abroad. We choose providers that protect data with encryption and access controls.
We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details and money records: for as long as you have an account.
- When your trial or pass ends: nothing is deleted. Your account stays and you can still sign in and see your records.
- If you delete your account: we delete your account details, free-trial record and money records within 30 days. We keep payment records for 5 years because tax rules require it, then delete them.
6. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also object to how we use it. Email support@peramama.com from your account's email address; we reply within 15 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest at our providers. Each account can see only its own records. Admin access needs 2-step verification, and payment approvals are logged. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
